Senior Mentor Squad

Douglas Chrystall

Douglas returns for his fourth year as both a rider and the team’s Race Director. He started riding a bike around 7 years ago when he entered the 250 km Round the Bay charity ride in Melbourne, Australia and a year later he entered his first race and immediately became hooked. Originally viewing cycling as a way to keep fit and lose weight, it quickly turned into a huge part of his life and he continues to race and promote cycling in his community. Together with Assistant Race Director Stephen Jette, Douglas aides in communicating race strategy along with informal coaching to all riders. Moving into 2018, he is excited to continue to assist the juniors and work with the senior team to help them achieve their racing goals.
